We are looking for an entry level Architect-Intern, with some prior architectural office experience, and has demonstrated a focus in the CAD drafting of architecture and/or landscape architecture plans, construction details, and specifications. We are a high-growth, startup environment and the successful candidate will have demonstrated an ability to work with a team as well as independently, in a fast-paced working atmosphere. This person will be creative, flexible, and knowledgeable about architecture, design, fabrication, and construction.


  • 5+ years work experience in an Architects or Landscape Architect’s office
  • Production of construction documents
  • Proficiency and knowledge of construction and construction details
  • Development of detailed construction documents including a proficiency in construction detailing and a strong working knowledge of construction materials.
  • An understanding of current building codes
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator), MS office, Google, Sketch up, Rhino, Grasshopper, and/ or other 3D modeling programs
  • Development of presentation drawings
  • Ability to self-edit work and command a high level of accuracy
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Be able to multi-task
  • Be able to work independently under general supervision
  • Must be able to work on multiple projects
  • Hands-on construction experience in related building types is preferred

Other Requirements:

  • Earned BS or BA in Architecture is preferred
  • Self-directed, resourceful, and goal oriented.
  • An eye for detail and a desire to perform at a high level.
  • Must have the ability to work well under pressure, as well as manage competing deadlines
  • Candidates must be knowledgeable of building materials and installation methods and be self-motivated and responsible


  • Experience with the following is mandatory: AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with any of the following a plus: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Rhino, Grasshopper, VRay, and/or Sketch up.
